El Lute

    a man who was born to be hunted like a wild animal

    because he was poor, but he refused to accept his fate,
    and today his honour has been restored.

1. He was only nineteen and was sentenced to die

    Then they changed it to life, and so he could escape,

    from then on they chased him, and searched for him day and night,

    all over Spain, but the search was in vain         for El Lute.

He had only seen the dark side of life, the man they called El Lute,

So he taught himself to read and to write, it didn't help El Lute,
